Retro Commissioning
McCracken & Lopez, P.A. offers our clients Retro-Commissioning - the process of commissioning an existing facility that either hasn’t been previously commissioned or is in need of a “tune-up” to improve performance or improve emergency operations.
Retro Commissioning serves to identify and correct existing mechanical / electrical system problems and also enables the owner to have all systems upgraded to meet updated design intent criteria.
Performing a retro-commissioning project can be more challenging than performing new building commissioning. The original contractors and the design team members may no longer be active and complete documentation may not be available.
Our retro-commissioning process is set up in three phases. The first phase is to identify all the issues. The second phase includes providing a plan and specification to resolve all deficiencies. The third phase has the Commissioning Provider returning to the site to commission the items that the contractors have corrected.
The Commissioning Group at M&L consists of an NEBB Commissioning Agent, Qualified Commissioning Process Providers, Certified Building Commissioning Providers, Test & Balance Manager and Field Verification Experts.
Please feel free to contact us if you would be interested in discussing Commissioning or Retro-Commissioning for your facility. |
